Consultations

The government and local authorities place much emphasis on the importance of consulting the public about important decisions and complying with associated legislation.

Recent consultations have ranged from HS2 and airport noise, through local development planning (DDPD) and AONB policy, to Local Area Forum (LAF) budgeting.  It is important that you use your voice effectively – PVA will give you the information to enable you to form you own view and tell you how to get your voice heard.

New consultation opportunities will appear as News items on this site.  You can read about past consultations by entering “consultations” in the PVA site Search box.

September 2017

A new Consultation period has opened from 29th of September to 10th of November on the creation of a Brown Field Site Register. You can read about it here: Brown Field Site Register Consultation.

  1. Being a farm manager in Prestwood i am dismayed at the amount of dog on dog attacks locally , recently my employers elderly dog was viciously mauled by a large dog on a public footpath , ours was on a lead the attacker wasnt , since then i have heard of several similar attacks by different dogs , we welcome responsible dog owners but i think its only a matter of time until a person is hurt , its not the dogs fault , its the owners that need training , the council have been informed but are unable to help as its a civil matter , i am still waiting to hear about any police investigation ,
