Prestwood Revitalisation Group (PRG) is a sub-group of Great Missenden Parish Revitalisation Group (GMPRG).
GMPRG is a voluntary community group that acts as a forum for representatives from a range of organisations including clubs, societies, charities, schools, voluntary groups, business networks and statutory bodies operating in and around Great Missenden, Prestwood and the neighbouring villages, with the aim of facilitating discussion and collaboration between these organisations for the social, economic and environmental benefit of the community. http://www.gmprg.org.uk/
PRG held a meeting with the community at the Village Hall on 22 March 2016. (It was advertised in this news item) The meeting discussed a proposal to revitalise Prestwood by creating a “centre” based at Chequers Corner on the A4128 (where the Chequers Tree pub is located at the junction of Wycombe Road, Honor End Lane, Chequers Lane and the High Street.
