POD
POD stands for Prestwood Open Door & there is an invitation for anyone from 100yrs- 50yrs to join us . We have both ends of the age span.
Once a month on a Monday afternoon we meet in the Village Hall from 2.30-4pm.
It is a friendly atmosphere with refreshments, quizzes, an opportunity to chat together, usually with a speaker on a topic of local interest or from further a field after a visiting a country with a very different culture to that of the UK. There is also a Christian focus & we support the local charity ROPE (Relief for Oppressed People Everywhere)
