Consultations

About this page

The government and local authorities place much emphasis on the importance of consulting the public about key decisions and complying with associated legislation. Recent consultations included HS2, airport noise, local development planning (DDPD) and Local Area Forum (LAF) budgeting.  It is important that you use your voice effectively – Prestwood Village Association aims to give you the information you need and to let you know how to get your voice heard.

If something new comes up we place it in the News feed first of all. If we consider it is directly relevant to the Prestwood community then we place an item in this area and let people know it is active. As more information becomes available we provide it here.

For historical reasons some items reflect previous results from earlier consultations, such as the Local Plan. We will generally keep consultations on the site if we consider them to be important. As their importance diminishes we will remove them. Note that each page will indicate whether the item or consultation is active or whether it has now closed.
