Amersham Town Council has recently been notified of two planning applications relating to the HS2 vent shaft headhouse, one relating to the design of the headhouse itself and the other to the surrounding landscaping. An extract is:
The Town Council would therefore like to put on record our frustration and disappointment that Councillors have not been given the chance to submit their comments on the proposals and perform their duty of representing the residents of Amersham, as they were elected to do.
