Prior to the pandemic we had a pretty full and accurate calendar of events for Prestwood. Unfortunately we had to clear it all out in January 2022 because most of the information was old and out of date. Now we have only 4 events in there!
If you have an event, a club or a group you are involved in, you can add your event to our website. It costs absolutely nothing to do this. You write the copy for it, and enter the details for the event, and can even supply a supporting image. It goes into a moderation queue and if it looks ok we will publish it. There are a few common sense rules about this because we wish to maintain the integrity of the calendar for the benefit of the whole community.
To be eligible to use the calendar, you must either work or live in Prestwood, and the event needs to be held in Prestwood or within 3 miles of Prestwood in one of the surrounding villages. Adding a calendar event (or series of events) is very easy, you need to go this page and follow the instructions: Add an Event Please ensure that if you have a repeating event, it is no longer than 6 months. You can refresh it in 6 months time. Any that repeat beyond six months will be reset to 6 months.
Also if you have placed an event in the calendar, but have now chosen not to hold it, or it needs to be cancelled, send a message to info@prestwoodva.org.uk from the email address listed in the entry and we will remove it for you.
