The Chiltern Way Federation was formed in September 2010 when two special schools for boys with Behaviour Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD) joined together. Wendover House School and Prestwood Lodge School both had a good track record for supporting these difficult and challenging pupils. The aim of federating the two schools was to combine the expertise and working practices of the two schools to develop a single BESD provision that will help the pupils to achieve the best outcomes possible.
