PVA will post information from our local surgeries and NHS as we receive it – keep looking from time to time
There is a lot of information and many rumours about vaccination progress (or lack of it) in the public arena. As we all know, the situation is so fluid that information is quickly out of date. At PVA, we have close contact with our local Primary Care Network (PCN) who are involved in cross-surgery planning for vaccinations. We thus receive local surgery updates, NHS England updates and, as below, a statement from NHS Buckinghamshire Clinical Commissioning Group.
Our PCN covers Hughenden Valley (and thus Chequers) Surgery, Prospect House, and John Hampden Surgery, Amersham Health Centre, Rectory Meadow Surgery. They are working so very hard on our behalf to face a logistical challenge unlike any they have had to cope with before. And they have to keep “the shop” open for business as usual. They are using modern communication methods where possible but will also use direct telephone calls where that is needed. As we get more information from the above sources on their timetables and progress, we will publish it here and on our Facebook page to keep you informed.

Buckinghamshire Council update January 21
The PC N received 970 doses last week. However the PCN has a patient base of 42,516 with no update on further deliveries how does this sit with the information being given out on the BBC every day that thousands of vaccinations are to be given every week and rising to the millions. Something is not adding up and untruths are being told to the public.
