As part of our early spring clean we have erased the community calendar on this website. With the Covid pandemic over the last 2 years the calendar had got wildly out of date, and some people had added entries up to 3 years into the future. But it is still on the website.
Got an event – tell us about it
We would like to get the calendar back into a useful form so we would like to encourage all of you to re-enter any events you wish to share with the community. It is a great way of getting some free advertising and keeping everyone informed. The process is very easy.
How do I add an entry to the calendar?
We have a special form built into the website where you fill in all of your details including where, when and whom to contact, you can also add notes about your event as well including any external website.
This information is then moderated before it is added to the website calendar. We have a few simple rules.
- All events in the calendar need to be submitted using this process.
- While you can make a single entry repeat for many weeks or months, we will only accept repeat entries for 12 months from the date submitted
- Your event must be based within 3 miles of the centre of Prestwood
- Your event must be of interest to the Prestwood Community
- You must state who you are so we (and the public) can contact you, and you need to be the organiser.
- Prestwood Village Association reserves the right to not publish any entries which we consider are not relevant to the Prestwood Community, or are not local to Prestwood.
- Prestwood Village Association reserves the right to unpublish anything which is later brought to our attention as being incorrect, or in error.
- Prestwood Village Association reserves the right to not publish events submitted by people who cannot be contacted.
- There is no payment required to have an entry in our calendar. This is a free service.
