Many thanks to everyone that participated in the Prestwood Village Association Survey that closed on the 15th of November.
We had 200 surveys in, when we had filtered out the duplicates we had 187. The Yes/ No answers have been processed and you can see the results on this page. We have just been through a process where consideration was given to whether PVA closes down.
Thanks to the survey we have an overwhelming 84% approval from the community indicating that the work done within PVA is of value. We have also collected names of people willing to help us relaunch which is great news.
It was interesting to see that while we fundamentally targeted our registered subscribers (830 people) we also received around 28% of surveys from website visitors who are not subscribers. That may be because we have not pushed the free subscription part of the website.
Why subscribe?
When you subscribe to the website you are added to a mailing list. You can unsubscribe at any time, it is fully automated. We will generally send out a round up of the news for the previous 4-5 weeks every month. That comes in an interactive email. The previous month’s news is summarised in the email, you can click on links in it if anything interests you and you will be taken to the full item on the website.
The other thing we do is send out alerts, so if anything is going on which may affect you and it has been brought to our attention we will let you know. These are not used very often. However the point of subscribing is we bring the news to your inbox, so you do not need to check in on the website.
