Please consider the environment. For 20 years I have tried to save the wildlife in this area, as it is being attacked on all sides from major developments. Since I have been here I have noticed a diminished number of birds, a number of deer, and a various number of other species of wild life.. I originally contacted the Woodland trust and they said it was considered to be ‘ancient woodland’ trust and should be protected. Please see my previous post at the original application. We have HS2 which have left the wildlife with diminished areas to roam. We need this trees for the environment. Being the celebration of the Queens jubilee, and we are being to asked to plant trees, can we save these trees and wildlife that consider them their home?
Revised application for 10 houses in Greenlands Lane
“This is the quietest road in Prestwood. To put that number of houses in that area would ruin this part of countryside”
“I do not believe that we need houses that badly that we should desecrate Greenlands Lane in such a manner, or other lanes of similar character in Prestwood. We have suffered our fair share of development over the years”

I think you are being a little selfish. It’s not that many houses. it won’t increase traffic that much. share your exclusive location. they won’t be cheap! It certainly won’t ruin your road!!!
Nature has to live somewhere too if we are going to tackle climate change. And nature lives here in abundance.
The road is going to be widened and verges replaced with pavement…It’s over 40% increase in properties. So I think it will ruin this rural lane that everyone uses to access the open countryside.

Prestwood is no longer a small village and has far too many people here to cope with
