Dear Chequers Folk folk…

There’s a lot of focus on the pound at the moment, and while that’s not so good economically, it’s brilliant for November Chequers Folk!

On Wednesday 16th Will Pound (melodeon and harmonica genius) will definitely be providing a high rate of interest as he shares with us from the wealth of his amazing portfolio. We guarantee a brilliant night of folk and virtuosity.

Liquidity is provided by our host John at the bar with Rebellion ale and a variety of other drinks….plus there will be an interval when we can bond!

We do hope that you will appreciate The Wick Trimmers as we seek to give a good account of ourselves without our dear friends, Gerard and Pauline. Happily, Peter and Linda will be joining us as well as Kate adding vocals.

So please do invest in an evening at Chequers Folk at Cherry Tree Farm, Great Kingshill – and we hope we get good returns in the future too.
