Evidence of your demand needed if anything is going to happen. Please help
Below is a post we put on at the end of February. Funding is available! We understand there have not been enough responses. Without evidence of demand from you, nothing will happen. But when HS2 really gets going, the congestion will be much worse. The council need to know your view on what the best solution is. Roundabout or something else or nothing? Please give your view on the link provided below.
It would be a shame to miss this funding opportunity. HS2 will take the money elsewhere.

The Great Missenden Parish Council is asking for responses to a short survey regarding views on the Chiltern Hospital/London Road junction on the A413, which is of concern to many people. This is a real opportunity to do something about that roundabout. Looking ahead, traffic along the A413 is set to increase substantially owing to the construction of HS2 and the new housing developments around Wendover and Aylesbury. Please take a minute to give your opinion. Are you happy with it as it is or would a roundabout help? Or would traffic lights work better? If you don’t tell them, they won’t take your opinion into account.

A roundabout is definitely needed to make this junction safe.and keep traffic moving.
This roundabout is really needed.
This junction is very dangerous and should be upgraded with something more suitable for the traffic levels we have now.
This junction was originally constructed about 50 years ago when there were not so many vehicles on the roads.
I believe we need either a roundabout or traffic lights. It is a nightmare getting out of the junction at the moment. I have seen some near misses recently. I agree when HS2 really gets going it will be virtually impossible to access the A413 easily.
I’m all for safety and either a roundabout or traffic lights will be so good.
I absolutely think that a roundabout is essential by the Chiltern Hospital. It is very dangerous to get out of there onto the main road, plus I have lived here for 50 years, & have witnessed many accidents.
The main road has always been extremely busy, & will only get busier with all the building of houses/apartments in Great Missenden & Wendover.
I cannot believe it is in question, please please let us have it to make it safer for people.
