Happy New Year! I am writing to introduce myself as the new Headteacher of The Misbourne. I am delighted to have taken up this post and am very much looking forward to getting to know you and working with you in the coming weeks and months.
To date, I have spent my 20-year teaching career at secondary schools in Hertfordshire – firstly at Sandringham School in St Albans and then, for the past nine years, at Ashlyns School in Berkhamsted. So, while this is my first foray into the Bucks education system, I am familiar with many of The Misbourne’s local schools and organisations and look forward to continuing the excellent work that Jo Meloni undertook with you.
I very much look forward to speaking to you before long to introduce myself in person and to explore how we can further strengthen mutually-beneficial links to provide enriching opportunities for all our young people in the local community.
